Iowa Home Health Fair Payment Coalition
Fair Payments. Strong Providers. Better Patient Care.
A statewide community working together for fair reimbursement, accountability, and access to quality at home.
Our Mission
To unite Iowa's home health providers in advocating for fair reimbursement, transparent payment practices, and accountability across healthcare systems. Through collaboration, education, and evidence-based advocacy, we work to protect the financial sustainability of providers and ensure Iowans have access to the quality home health care they need and deserve.
Our Vision
An Iowa where every home health provider is treated fairly, every payer is held accountable, and every patient has access to quality care at home—regardless of where they live or who pays for their care.
Our Values
Fairness & Justice
We advocate for reimbursement that reflects the true cost and complexity of delivering care, including the realities of serving rural communities. Every provider deserves consistent, equitable treatment, clear standards, and a fair opportunity to challenge payment or coverage decisions.
Community & Unity
We bring Iowa home health providers together across regions, specialties, and organizations to share knowledge, identify common challenges, and speak with a stronger collective voice. We believe collaboration strengthens providers and the communities they serve.
Accountability & Transparency
We expect clear payment policies, timely and accurate claims processing, meaningful communication, and consistent application of contracts and regulations. We hold ourselves to the same standards through responsible stewardship, factual advocacy, and open dialogue.
Patient Advocacy
Patients and families are at the center of our work. We advocate for policies that preserve access to medically necessary home-based care, protect continuity of services, and recognize that a person’s ZIP code, payer, or care needs should not determine whether quality care is available.
Courage & Integrity
We raise difficult issues respectfully and persistently, even when doing so is uncomfortable. We ground our positions in evidence, honor our commitments, and pursue practical solutions that support ethical care, sustainable providers, and better outcomes for Iowans.
